Paint what inspires you while building strong technical skills! This 4-week guided studio series offers personalized, hands-on instruction tailored to your unique artistic goals, whether you are working on your very first canvas or continuing an ongoing project.

Rather than following a step-by-step group lesson, you bring your own subject idea or reference image (a photo, landscape, portrait, or abstract idea), and instructor Zari Kazandjian will guide you through bringing it to life. If you don't have an idea, Zari will guide you and get you started!

Throughout your painting process, you will receive individual guidance on fundamental painting principles, including value, light, form, composition, brushwork, and colour mixing. In an intimate, small-group setting, you can learn at your own rhythm alongside fellow local creatives.

Zari is a local painter and art educator passionate about making painting approachable for everyone. Known for her supportive guidance and emphasis on core techniques, from dynamic brushwork to colour mixing, Zari helps students of all skill levels bring their artistic visions to life.
